CNBOP-PIB Certification Department (also called DC) has a certificate of accreditation No. AC 063 issued by Polish Centre for Accreditation. In addition to the above accreditation, DC CNBOP-PIB also has authorization of relevant ministers and notification of the European Commission within the scope of the following:

• Regulations (EU) no 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2011 laying down harmonised conditions for the marketing of construction products and repealing Council Directive 89/106/EEC,

Number of notified body in the European Union – 1438.

CNBOP-PIB Certification Department is involved in (full scope):

• Certificates of admittance for use
• European certification of constancy of performance of:
  • Construction products
  • reaction to fire of cables
  • National assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products (Polish “construction marking”)
• National assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products (Polish “construction marking”)
• Voluntary certification of conformity of products used in fire protection

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Certification Department carries out voluntary certification of conformity for the UAE market.

And European certificates of constancy of performance Issued by CNBOP-PIB are recognized by the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Civil Defense, State of Qatar, Teheran Fire Brigade, Jordan Standards And Metrology Organization, as well as Directorate General of Civil Protection, Public Authority for Civil Defence & Ambulance, Sultanate of Oman.

This activity is carried out outside the scope of PCA accreditation.
