Laboratory of Combustion and Explosions (BW) performs science and research works and develops research methodology related to the flammability of construction materials and products as well as explosiveness of flammable substances. Laboratory performs research of fire parameters of materials and explosiveness of flammable substances.

The BW team performs analyses of fire and explosion occurrences generated as part of real fires and explosions.

BW Laboratory develops opinions, expertise and technical analyses and performs advisory and consultative activities within the scope of construction solution correctness and correctness of solutions related to the explosiveness of substances and flammability of construction materials and products as well as within the scope of flammability of construction materials and products and explosiveness of flammable substances.
