Scope of activity

CNBOP-PIB certification department carries out certification of software according to N2 system, according to CNBOP-PIB requirements.

The certfification process involved testing of software for:

• fire alarm control panel,
• central voice alarm system,
• control units (used for smoke exhaust, extinguishing, luminaire control),
• systems integrating fire protection devices,
• other fire protection devices.

The possibility of software certification of the upper-mentioned appliances will be analysed individually.

Cetrification Department does not provide a procelist for products testing. Information on testing is provided by laboratories.

Software certification is carried out outside the scope of accreditation no. AC 063.
