We kindly inform that in order to obtain a certificate of admittance for emergency lighting luminaires in the processes carried out in accordance with point 13.2 of the appendix to the Regulations of the Minister of the Interior and Administration of 20 June 2007 on a listing of products used to assure public safety or protection of health and life and property, as well as rules for issuance of a certificate of admittance of those products for use (Journal of Laws – Dz. U. No. 143 item 1002 with amended) Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection - National Research Institute allows, as an option, the possibility of using alternative (in relation to the batteries) sources of electricity in the form of capacitors, that can be use in  the self-contained emergency luminaires.

Therefore, we kindly inform you that in order to obtain the certificate of admittance or change its scope, it will be necessary, among others, to obtain appropriate test results of the product, made in a competent testing laboratory, within the scope of applicable requirements of PN-EN 60598-2-22:2015. The functional requirements of this standard concerning emergency lighting luminaires equipped with accumulator batteries will apply to luminaires equipped with alternative source of electric energy in the form of a capacitor. Each presented solution will be analysed by CNBOP-PIB individually.
