VII international conference Safety of New Technologies (updated on 14.07.2026)

Theme: Advancing Rescue Technologies, Solutions for Fire Protection and Civil Protection
The seventh edition of the Safety of New Technologies (BNT) Conference, organized by CNBOP-PIB together with its partners, will take place on 25 September 2026 at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland. For the second time, the BNT Conference will form part of a major event for the electromobility sector – the New Mobility Congress (KNM).
On the day of the conference, Friday, 25 September 2026, the 2nd National Training for Uniformed Services will also be held. A new feature in Katowice will be a dedicated exhibition and demonstration zone focused on public fire safety prevention and on promoting knowledge and awareness of the safety aspects of new technologies among the wider public.
The exhibition and demonstration zone has also been expanded to provide manufacturers and suppliers of technical fire protection systems with an opportunity to showcase their products, systems, and solutions. We warmly invite you to participate in all of the above-mentioned initiatives. Further information is provided below.
Safety of New Technologies (BNT)
The BNT conference series serves as a platform for presenting and disseminating research results, as well as reviewing current knowledge on rapidly developing new technologies. To date, its principal thematic areas have included:

Civil protection and civil defence are currently areas of intensive development involving legislative, organizational, and systemic efforts, as well as the implementation of specialized programmes and investments in personnel, competencies, preparedness, equipment, resources, and infrastructure. Equally important is the ongoing effort to strengthen societal resilience to current and emerging threats.
In response to the numerous needs arising from the rapidly developing and continuously improving civil protection capabilities in Poland, and in view of real-world threats, we are launching, as pioneers in this field, a series of presentations dedicated to sharing knowledge, research findings, technical and technological solutions, systems, and products designed to support the achievement of protection objectives related to broadly understood civil protection and civil defence, as well as the protection of property and critical infrastructure.
As in previous years, these activities are being carried out consistently in cooperation with scientific and research institutions, units of the State Fire Service (PSP) and Volunteer Fire Service (OSP), industry associations representing various technologies, and, of course, manufacturers of products and solutions dedicated to fire protection and civil protection.
