Laboratory of Fire Protection Units’ Technical Equipment – BS
Tests facilities
Tests are carried out on appropriate facilities and high-class control and measurement equipment as below:
The stand is used to test the resistance to soaking of leather firefighters’ shoes under the conditions specified in the PN-O-91123 standard.

The stand is used to determine characteristics (lifting force as a function of lifting height) and to test the strength of the tested lifting bags.

The stand is used to test the strength and forces of pushing the plug out of the pipeline.

The stand is used to test the resistance to soaking of the inner side of the thermal insulation layer during a one-hour artificial rain test with a sprinkling intensity of 450 +/- 50 dm3/m2h.

The stand is used to test the fire resistance of masks under the conditions specified in the PN-EN-136 standard.

The test stand is used to test the ability of a firefighting vehicle to maintain functionality and the absence of collisions between various components, including the cabin and body, after driving simultaneously onto two ramps of a specific height positioned diagonally on the horizontal plane, as specified in the PN-EN 1846-2+A1 standard.

The test stand is used to test the angle of lateral tilt at which the last inclined wheel of a firefighting vehicle loses contact with the ground plane, in conditions specified in the PN-EN 1846-2+A1 standard.

The stand is used to test the vehicle’s own weight, the maximum actual vehicle weight, the weight of extinguishing agents and the distribution of these masses on the vehicle’s wheels and axles in the conditions specified in the PN-EN 1846-2+A1 standard.

The stand is used to test the physical and strength properties of fire suction and discharge hoses and fire fittings.
