Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection – National Research Institute (CNBOP-PIB) is a scientific unit of State Fire Service with the mission of ensuring public safety of the country in terms of fire protection, crisis management, civil protection and civil defence.

CNBOP-PIB continuously strives to be a modern, recognized research institute as well as a scientific, research and expert support centre for the Ministry of Interior and Administration and the State Fire Service. Institute’s primary goal is to increase the level of fire safety in Poland by realising its statutory tasks.
