Since 2010, CNBOP has been included in the prestigious group of National Research Institutes.

The constantly modernized research potential of the Institute consists of highly qualified staff, four laboratories equipped with over 270 specialized research stations and a team of experts from other substantive and supporting units.

CNBOP-PIB conducts research (statutory and as part of national and international projects), organizes scientific events, issues specialized publications, and supports the development of new technologies in proprietary certification and research programs.
