Testing result

After testing the product with a positive result, the manufacturer receives:

• Recommendation for use in fire protection – refers to products not subject to mandatory admittance for use. The recommendation is granted for an indefinite period,

or

• Opinion of suitability for use in fire protection – refers to products subject to mandatory approval. The opinion is granted for a fixed period of 3 years and includes a reservation that the product is subject to the obligation to be admitted for use.
